Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.01% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:10AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 2.66 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.9 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.85 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.4 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.28 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty(down 2.51 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.64 per cent) and DLF(down 0.52 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.01 per cent at 473.8 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 13.5 points at 17653.05, while the BSE Sensex was down 24.12 points at 59010.83.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Shree Ren Sug, Suzlon Energy and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Choice Intnl, Deep Industries Ltd., Brand Concepts L, BAG Films and Vaishali Pharma hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vaxtex Cotfab and GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
