NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.
These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Harrisons Mala(14.9%), TheBykeHospitality(14.38%), DCB Bank (13.5%), KM Sugar Mills(13.46%), Capital Trust(13.03%), Simplex Casting(12.74%), MTNL(11.66%), Ramco Systems(11.41%), Ontic Finserve(11.33%) and Sujala Trading(11.31%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 575.46 points down at 59034.95, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 168.1 points down at 17639.55.
In the Nifty 50 index, 23 stocks ended in the green, while 27 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Uma Exports Ltd., Winsome Textile, Shree Ren Sug, Kenvi Jewels and AMD Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Evoq Remedies Ltd., Manraj Housing, Achyut Healthcare Ltd. and Aryavan Enterprise touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
