Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 89.43 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 23.16 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 22.86 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 19.88 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 15.12 crore), Shree Ren Sug(numbers of share traded: 12.04 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 11.55 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 7.53 crore), Zee Ent.(numbers of share traded: 6.79 crore) and PNB(numbers of share traded: 6.17 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 168.1 points down at 17639.55, while BSE Sensex ended down 575.46 points at 59034.95.

On the other hand, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 3.82 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 2.89 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.29 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
