Tata Neu, the super application developed by the Tata group, will be live on April 7. Users will be able to access the app along with the IPL match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at 7:30 pm. The app offers a collection of digital services that the conglomerate provides.
The Tata Group's employees are the only ones who are able to access the app's features right now, even though users can download it. Tata Neu offers 'super rewards' and access to a range of services such as flights, hotels, medicines, and groceries all in one place.
With this application, the conglomerate will be able to compete with Amazon and Reliance Industries. According to the company's website, it is a "unifying platform that connects several brands across the Tata universe like never before."
Among the companies' in-house brands that will be accessible through the app are Croma, Westside, AirAsia India, Taj hotels, and BigBasket, according to the group's website. It has taken more than a year to develop the app.
A loyalty program will be offered in the all-in-one app in order to retain customers. According to the website, Tata Neu consists of multiple brands that are connected by a common reward called NeuCoins, which can be earned and redeemed across all brands.
It is expected that Tata Neu will give the Indian conglomerate a stronger hand over its entrenched rivals like Amazon, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance, and Walmart's Flipkart. Tata Group has 29 listed companies in ten different sectors including steel, automobiles, technology, consumer retail, infrastructure, financial services, trading, defense, travel, and tourism.
