India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 185.04 crore (1,85,04,11,569) through 2,22,69,994 sessions, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday.
The ministry said that the Covid-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March 2022. So far, more than 1.98 crore (1,98,31,257) adolescents have been administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent. 1,198 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,24,97,567.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,086 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. "The last 24 hours saw a total of 4,81,374 Covid-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 79.20 crore (79,20,27,142) cumulative tests," it said.
Also, the weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 0.22 per cent and the daily positivity rate is also reported to be 0.23 per cent.
