Ministry of Corporate Affairs begins investigating leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi

After facing multiple probes by central enforcement agencies, including the ED, Income Tax (I-T) and the CBI, leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi are now facing investigations by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). Those facing probe include Hasan Mushrif, rural development and labour minister, and Shiv Sena corporator Yashawant Jadhav.

While in the case of Mushrif, MCA is probing a Pune-based sugar factory in which Mushrif's family members are directors, in the case of Jadhav, it's probing six companies linked to BMC's standing committee chief.
