AgenciesNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Tuesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Dilip Buildcon(13.7%), Unichem Labs(12.99%), IOL Chemicals(12.81%), Everest Org(11.62%), Machino Plastic(10.9%), Hitech Corporation (10.73%) and Hind Aluminium(10.59%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 266.73 points down at 60345.01, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 62.0 points to 17991.4.
In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Shree Krishna Infras, Deccan Health Care, Genus Paper Boards, Zuari Agro Chem and Marathon Nextgen hit their fresh 52-week high, while Evoq Remedies Ltd., GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Amradeep Ind and Navoday Enterprises Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in trade.
