IPL 2022 GT vs DC Highlights: Ferguson 4-28, Gill 86 shine in Titans win

GT vs DC Highlights: Gujarat Titans after beating Delhi Capitals by 14 runs in their second match of the Indian Premier League 2022 have joined Rajasthan Royals as the only two unbeaten teams in the league of 10 teams at the end of the first 10 matches. Shubman Gill with the bat and Lockie Ferguson with the ball shoe for the Titans at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson was adjudged as the Player of the Match for his brilliant effort with the ball. He literally won the game for Gujarat with his two bursts of over in which he took four wickets and ended the game with figures of 4-28.

Chasing the target of 172, Delhi Capitals didn't start well as they lost Tin Seifert early and then Lockie Ferguson came in and took wickets in one over by removing Mandeep Singh and Prithvi Shaw. Lalit Yadav and Rishabh Pant had 61 run stand which was broken by a fortunate runout and then Ferguson came back and got two wickets in one over once again and removed Pant and Axar Patel. 

With 30 needed from the last three overs and Rovaman Powell at the crease, the game was still hanging in the balance before Mohammad Shami removed Powell and Khaleel Ahmed in one over and almost finished the match., It eventually finished with Delhi Capitals at 157-9, losing the game by 14 runs. 

Earlier in the evening, after being asked to bat first, Gujarat Titans made 171-6 courtesy of a 46 ball 84 from Shubman Gill.

Delhi Capitals have played Mustafizur Rahman in place of Kamlesh Nagarkoti while the Gujarat Titans haven't made any changes to their Playing 11 from the previous match
