NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 10:29AM

20 Microns(up 4.25%), Oriental Trimex(up 2.30%), Aro Granite Industries(up 1.91%), Pokarna(up 1.07%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.85%), Lexus Granito(up 0.32%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 0.31%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.20%) were among the top gainers.

NMDC Ltd(down 1.48%), MOIL(down 1.46%), Ashapura Minechem(down 1.09%), Coal India(down 0.54%) and KIOCL(down 0.30%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 136.6 points up at 17461.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 523.34 points at 58466.99 at around 10:29AM.

TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 4.31%), Bajaj Finserv(up 3.02%), Axis Bank(up 2.98%), Bajaj Finance(up 2.77%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.75%), Grasim Industries(up 2.51%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.15%), Maruti Suzuki(up 2.06%), Shree Cement(up 1.92%) and UltraTech Cement(up 1.84%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 4.44%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.94%), JSW Steel(down 2.77%), Tata Steel(down 2.26%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.56%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.96%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.59%), Coal India(down 0.56%), UPL Ltd(down 0.45%) and ITC(down 0.43%) were trading in the red.
