Adani Ent. shares rise 2.81% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Adani Enterprises Ltd. traded at Rs 1969.7 on BSE at 12:48PM (IST) on Wednesday, up 2.81 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 987.95 and a high of Rs 1989.3.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 148,332 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:48PM (IST).

The stock of Adani Enterprises Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 217619.42 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 308.16, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.61. Return on equity (ROE) was at 5.37 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 378 stocks traded in the green, while 123 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 74.92 per cent in the Adani Enterprises Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 17.25 per cent and 4.97 per cent, respectively.
