NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 09:59AM
Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 6.57%), K.P.I. Global Infrastructure(up 4.99%), Jyoti Structures(up 4.98%), Energy Development Company(up 4.91%), Reliance Power(up 4.63%), Karma Energy(up 4.29%), PTC India(up 2.99%), Indowind Energy(up 2.84%), ADANIGREEN(up 2.70%) and Alstom T&D India(up 2.68%) were among the top gainers.
Orient Green Power Company(down 4.92%), Adani Power(down 3.69%) and Torrent Power(down 0.70%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 126.2 points up at 17451.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 479.27 points at 58422.92 at around 09:59AM.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 3.92%), Bajaj Finserv(up 3.47%), Bajaj Finance(up 2.91%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.86%), Axis Bank(up 2.48%), Grasim Industries(up 2.31%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.89%), Tata Motors(up 1.72%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.7%) and Shree Cement(up 1.62%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 4.27%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.37%), JSW Steel(down 2.35%), Tata Steel(down 2.02%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.55%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.84%), Coal India(down 0.51%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.22%), ITC(down 0.12%) and UPL Ltd(down 0.03%) were trading in the red.
