Adani Transmission shares rise 0.49% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Adani Transmission Ltd. traded at Rs 2467.1 on BSE at 11:52AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.49 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 846.0 and a high of Rs 2509.8.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 2,028 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:52AM (IST).

The stock of Adani Transmission Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 270795.24 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 223.16, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 16.41. Return on equity (ROE) was at 20.1 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 403 stocks traded in the green, while 98 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 74.92 per cent in the Adani Transmission Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 20.8 per cent and 2.92 per cent, respectively.
