ThinkStock PhotosNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 740.34 points up at 58683.99 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sky Gold(down 14.66 per cent), Lakshmi Electr(down 12.54 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 9.95 per cent), Jointeca Edu(down 9.92 per cent) and Vamshi Rubber(down 9.65 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 172.95 points up at 17498.25.
On the BSE, Evoq Remedies Ltd., GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., SoftTech Engineers, Integra Tele & Soft and Goyal Associate hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Omega Interactive Technologies Ltd., Deep Industries Ltd., Raymond, Atam Valves and Sanco Trans touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
