Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
NEW DELHI: Akash Infra-Proj, Rollatainers Ltd, CMI Ltd, Precision Metaliks Ltd. and Future Enterprises and others were among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows as of 10:29AM(IST)in Tuesday's session.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty gained 68.55 points to 17290.55, while the BSE Sensex traded 223.27 points up at 57816.76.

On the other hand, Indo Borax Chem, SPML Infra, Swelect Energy, Shigan Quantum Technologies Ltd. and Shree Ram Proteins stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., HDFC, Divis Labs, Adani Ports SEZ and Bharti Airtel were among the top gainers on the NSE.

ONGC, Coal India Ltd, ITC, NTPC and Hindalco were among the top losers.
