Apollo Hospital shares drop 0.24% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. traded at Rs 4641.1 on BSE at 01:29PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 0.24 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 2845.0 and a high of Rs 5930.7.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 58.77 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 78.82 per share and 9.07 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 8,495 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:29PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 66610.4 crore and is part of the Hospital industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 62.9 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 17.76 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 4694.9 and Rs 4620.0.

Promoters held 29.33 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. stood at 52.41 per cent and 6.64 per cent, respectively.
