Marico shares drop 1.77% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Marico Ltd. traded at Rs 469.5 on BSE at 12:07PM (IST) on Monday, down 1.77 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 397.3 and a high of Rs 606.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 50.88 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 9.24 per share and 16.38 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 18,206 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:07PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 60754.14 crore and is part of the Personal Care industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 16.81 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 15.89 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 484.7 and Rs 469.25.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 59.42 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Marico Ltd. stood at 25.55 per cent and 2.64 per cent, respectively.
