Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Friday at 10:34AM

KRISHANA(up 5.02%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 2.05%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.66%), Aries Agro(up 0.52%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.15%), G S F C(up 0.10%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.04%) were among the top gainers.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 4.99%), Sikko Industries(down 2.23%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.21%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.55%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.77%), National Fertilizer(down 0.67%), Coromandel International(down 0.66%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.62%), Agro Phos(down 0.60%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.44%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 33.0 points down at 17189.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 118.42 points at 57477.26 at around 10:34AM.

UPL Ltd(up 1.8%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.1%), State Bank of India(up 0.99%), Reliance Industries(up 0.84%), Bharti Airtel(up 0.7%), Tata Motors(up 0.59%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 0.49%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.4%), Hindalco Industries(up 0.35%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.34%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 2.76%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.91%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.78%), ITC(down 1.22%), Indian Oil Corporation(down 1.2%), Cipla(down 1.19%), Nestle India(down 1.07%), Eicher Motors(down 0.92%), Asian Paints(down 0.87%) and HDFC(down 0.87%) were trading in the red.
