Deploring the ED action against his relatives, the chief minister said he is willing to go to jail but his family members should not be targeted in such a 'despicable way'. He said that he is willing to go to jail but his relatives should not be targeted.

On the last day of the Maharashtra budget session, Uddhav described BJP as power hungry and likened it to mythological character Ravan. "Like Ravan's life was supposed to be in his belly button, there are some people who have got power in Delhi but their life is centred around Mumbai only," said the CM. Referring to the BJP's demand that state minister Nawab Malik should resign as he was arrested for having dealings with the Dawood Ibrahim gang, Thackeray questioned the BJP's own record. "If your alliance with Ajit Pawar in 2019 to form a government would have been successful then you would have been rubbing shoulders with Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh,"said the CM.
