Live news updates: India's national security adviser told the visiting Chinese foreign minister on Friday that an early and complete disengagement of troops from their disputed border was key to resolving issues between the countries, Reuters reported quoting two Indian sources said.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval after landing in New Delhi late on Thursday, in the highest level visit since deadly border clashes in 2020. 

The Central Bureau of Investigation will probe the murder of eight women and children near Bengal’s Rampurhat city, said the Kolkata High Court on Friday. The West Bengal police will hand over to the federal agency papers related to the case, said the court.

Prime Minister will be the chief guest at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's swearing-in ceremony in Lucknow for a second term. Preparations are being made for thousands of guests attending the event.

Pakistan Prime Minister said he wouldn't resign, rejecting opposition calls to step down ahead of a no-confidence move against him in his toughest challenge since coming to power in 2018.
