Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Kotak Bank(Rs. 7479.91 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 71.69 crore), Shaily Engg Pla(Rs. 38.81 crore), L&T Fin Holding(Rs. 38.63 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 32.72 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 29.24 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 27.29 crore), ITC(Rs. 26.36 crore), RIL(Rs. 24.83 crore) and Vodafone Idea(Rs. 23.11 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:10AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 23.1 points up at 17268.75, while BSE Sensex was up 74.54 points at 57759.36 as of 11:10AM(IST)on March 24.

In the Nifty index, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.68 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.65 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.62 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) were among the top losers.
