Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Atam Valves(up 19.78%), Garment Mantra Life(up 16.9%) and Zee Ent.(up 15.19%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 13.72 points up at 57698.54, while the 50-share index, NSE was 6.65 points up at 17252.3.
In the Nifty50 index, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Gujarat Craft, Nintec Systems Ltd., Shree Pushkar Chem, North Eastern and Decorous Investme hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bhatia Colour Chem Ltd., Jet Infraventure, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Janus Corporation and Nova Pub touched their new 52-week low during the session.
