Soon, rules for foreign vehicles

The ministry of road transport and highways has proposed to formalise the movement of non-transport (personal) vehicles that are registered in other countries when entering or plying in India. These norms have been issued in the draft Inter-Country Non-Transport (Personal) Vehicle Rules, 2022. A registration certificate, driving licence or international driving permit, insurance policy, and a pollution certificate will need to be carried in the vehicle.
