Alstom T&D India(up 3.05%), Kalpataru Power Transmission(up 2.69%), Inox wind(up 2.15%), Jyoti Structures(up 2.14%), GE Power India Limited(up 2.01%), NLC India(up 2.00%), RTNPOWER(up 1.71%), Adani Transmissions(up 1.70%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 1.45%) and Hitachi Energy India(up 1.41%) were among the top gainers.
Karma Energy(down 4.84%), Indowind Energy(down 3.06%), Energy Development Company(down 2.05%), Orient Green Power Company(down 1.72%) and Voltamp Transformers(down 0.63%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 278.0 points up at 17253.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 975.94 points at 57792.59 at around 10:04AM.
HDFC(up 3.66%), Asian Paints(up 3.52%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 3.06%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.75%), Eicher Motors(up 2.68%), Axis Bank(up 2.36%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.31%), Bajaj Auto(up 2.3%), HDFC Bank(up 2.28%) and Bajaj Finance(up 2.24%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Indian Oil Corporation(down 0.7%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.09%) were trading in the red.
