ICICI Pru Life shares rise 2.24% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 468.05 on BSE at 11:57AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 2.24 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 411.0 and a high of Rs 724.5.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 10,040 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:57AM (IST).

The stock of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 67423.13 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 106.2, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 5.28. Return on equity (ROE) was at 7.9 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 423 stocks traded in the green, while 77 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 73.41 per cent in the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 16.92 per cent and 4.26 per cent, respectively.
