To protect 12 to 14 year old children from corona in the state, Corbivax vaccine will be given from today in Jharkhand. The central government has provided more than 16 lakh vaccine doses to the state. The Health Department has made preparations for vaccination. At the same time, 8,68,320 doses of Corbivax have been allotted for the first phase of vaccination in the districts.
As per the list given by the Centre, there are 15,94,000 children in the age group of 12 to 14 years in the state, who are currently in Jharkhand. In this, children living outside this age group have been separated. According to the data, there are 7,95,000 children in the age group of 12 to 13 in the state, of which 4,02,000 are children and 3,93,000 are girl children. At the same time, there are 7,99,000 children in the age group of 13 to 14, of which 4,04,000 are children and 3,95,000 are girls.
A target has been set to vaccinate 2,11,138 children in Ranchi district. At present, this vaccine will be given under the government system. It will be vaccinated through schools. Children born before March 15, 2010 will be eligible for this. Age will be calculated from March 16, 2022. Vaccination will not be done without verification of Cowin App.
8,68,320 lakh doses of Corbivax allocated to 24 districts for the first phase. 13-year-old have to give the Corbivax vaccine to 7,99,000. The slots can be booked in advance on Cowin app, on-spot registration is also possible. After taking the first dose of covid vaccine, the second dose is to be taken after 28 days.
Not just Jharkhand, the country now moves toward the vaccination drive for 12-14 years children. PM Modi has tweeted regarding it motivating people to take vaccines.

Experts say before taking any vaccine, one should go after eating digestible food and drinking water. One should not get fever after the vaccine, but if someone does then paracetamol should be taken. The dosage of the medicine is determined according to the weight. One should be sure to apply covid vaccine for safety and protection.
