Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 735.59 crore), TCS(Rs. 606.88 crore), RIL(Rs. 574.23 crore), BSE(Rs. 544.05 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 541.20 crore), PayTM(Rs. 493.76 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 463.05 crore), Bandhan Bank(Rs. 410.79 crore), SBI(Rs. 408.81 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 402.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 16.85 points up at 16888.15, while BSE Sensex was up 54.52 points at 56540.54 as of 10:29AM(IST)on March 15.

In the Nifty index, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 4.53 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 3.53 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.91 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.72 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 3.70 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.20 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.80 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.73 per cent) were among the top losers.
