During his first public appearance, the one-year-old was accompanied by his mother, Shloka Mehta, and father, Akash Ambani. The parents dropped him off at the school gates.
‘Educated in India’ The richest family in India unanimously decided to send the toddler to Sunflower School in Malabar Hill. The little one's parents also studied in the same school.
The statement released by the Ambanis said that Prithvi's parents wanted to ensure a grounded and safe environment for their son, but also wanted quality education and learning.
According to the release, the Ambani family left no stone unturned to ensure tight security with a discrete staff.
The baby Ambani joined his batchmates for half a day on Tuesday, as a gentle introduction to school life.
"The family is extremely determined to enable Prithvi to lead a ‘normal’ life which is so incredibly hard, being at the centre of national and international fascination as he is the grandson of Asia’s Richest Person and dubbed by his many fans, as the Prince of India," the statement read.

Akash-Shloka welcomed a baby boy on December 10, 2020. To celebrate the newest member of the family, the Ambani residence, 'Antilia' building, was lit up in blue. A picture of Ambani holding his newborn grandson also went viral back then.
In 2019, Akash married Shloka - Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta's daughter - at Mumbai. The grand ceremony was attended by eminent personalities.
