Indus Towers shares drop 0.98% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Indus Towers Ltd. traded at Rs 211.95 on BSE at 12:18PM (IST) on Monday, down 0.98 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 194.25 and a high of Rs 332.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 9.68 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 21.92 per share and 4.16 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 48,993 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:18PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 57173.09 crore and is part of the Telecommunications - Allied Services industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 16.14 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 14.04 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 215.9 and Rs 211.35.

Promoters held 44.79 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Indus Towers Ltd. stood at 26.08 per cent and 0.8 per cent, respectively.
