Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 6.14%), G S F C(up 6.00%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 5.84%), Sikko Industries(up 4.95%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 3.53%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 3.04%), Aries Agro(up 2.50%), National Fertilizer(up 2.15%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.57%) and KRISHANA(up 1.03%) were among the top gainers.
Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.73%), Coromandel International(down 1.57%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.99%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 0.79%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.41%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 79.15 points up at 16709.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 370.65 points at 55920.95 at around 11:10AM.
HDFC Bank(up 2.68%), Infosys(up 2.43%), ICICI Bank(up 1.85%), Axis Bank(up 1.32%), State Bank of India(up 1.22%), Wipro(up 0.98%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.82%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.71%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.69%) and UPL Ltd(up 0.62%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Indian Oil Corporation(down 2.67%), Tata Motors(down 2.43%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 2.31%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.99%), Britannia Industries(down 1.5%), Shree Cement(down 1.47%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.46%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.42%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.41%) and Bajaj Finance(down 1.4%) were trading in the red.
