Voltas shares drop 1.49% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 1186.3 on BSE at 12:07PM (IST) on Monday, down 1.49 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 918.0 and a high of Rs 1356.9.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 70.02 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 16.9 per share and 6.64 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 10,543 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:07PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 39148.63 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 12.64 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 14.29 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1209.0 and Rs 1180.0.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Voltas Ltd. stood at 24.42 per cent and 19.75 per cent, respectively.
