NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 6.29 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 3.47 crore), Shree Ren Sug(number of shares traded: 2.80 crore), MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 2.58 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.29 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 2.08 crore), Tata Motors(number of shares traded: 1.90 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.67 crore), Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 1.63 crore) and JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.40 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:15AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 94.0 points up at 16724.45, while BSE Sensex was up 425.55 points at 55975.85 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 2.65 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.49 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 2.63 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.27 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
