
CBSE Class 10 Term 1 Result 2022 Declared: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10 term-1 results today. However, the result has been declared offline and has not been uploaded on the official websites. Students have to collect their term 1 marksheets from respective schools.
CBSE term-1 exams for class 10 were conducted between November 30 and December 11, 2021. The term-1 exams were conducted in the respective schools in an offline mode. The board clearly stated that no student will fail or pass according to the scores obtained in the first term. The final result will be computed on the basis of scores in both the terms, at the end of the academic year.
This year the board decided to split the annual academic year into two terms. The first term included an objective-type question paper. The second term will include questions in different formats. It will be conducted at an assigned exam centre.
While class 10 result has been declared, students of class 12 are still waiting for their term-1 results. Due to this, a fake notice about declaration of class 12 term-1 results had been doing rounds on social media. CBSE has clarified that no result declaration date has been announced yet. Read more
So far, the board has not announced how much weightage will be given to the Term-I and II performances, respectively, while tabulating their results. As per the board circular, no marksheet cum passing certificate will be issued for term-1 exams. The board will only release a combined marksheet of both terms after the declaration of term 2 results
"There is a different charm of checking the board result on the website and parents were trying to log in to the website in the morning, however, as per the CBSE, the results will be posted on the website soon. The school shared the individual mark sheets with the parents immediately upon receiving the results. In a circular released by CBSE, the board has informed that the exam centres allotted to students will be different from the ones they appeared in term-1 exams. The details of exam centre will be mentioned on the term 2 admit cards
"The Board is informing the schools only about the theory performance of their students of Class X in a collective manner. Hence, the performance of individual student will not be available on the website," an official statement from the CBSE read.
As per an official notification, schools have been asked to conclude the practical exams 10 days before the date of the last examination of the respective grade. The board will be appointing external examiners to conduct the Class XII practicals, while the ones for Class X students will be supervised by the schools themselves. Read more
Term 2 examinations will be conducted in an offline mode. The question paper for the second term will include questions from the remaining 50 per cent of the syllabus (that has been uploaded on the CBSE website). It will not just include objective-type questions, but also questions of different formats.

CBSE declared the class 10 results today, however, the board has not shared any information on Class 12 board exam results yet. It is expected that the board will send the class 12 marksheets to respective schools who will then distribute them to the students.
Delhi has 2,188 schools affiliated to CBSE. Lakhs of students from these schools, which include government schools in the city, will sit for the second term exams in April.
