Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 5.65%), MOIL(up 4.04%), NMDC Ltd(up 1.96%), Lexus Granito(up 1.81%), Oriental Trimex(up 1.65%), Coal India(up 1.42%), 20 Microns(up 1.36%), Pokarna(up 1.13%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 0.84%) and Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.83%) were among the top gainers.
KIOCL(down 1.26%) and Ashapura Minechem(down 0.10%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 21.3 points up at 16616.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 83.48 points at 55547.87 at around 11:26AM.
Cipla(up 3.23%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 2.36%), JSW Steel(up 2.01%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.73%), Coal India(up 1.45%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.26%), SBI Life(up 0.99%), Axis Bank(up 0.68%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.65%) and Bajaj Finance(up 0.62%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 1.99%), Nestle India(down 1.63%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.49%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.39%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.94%), Eicher Motors(down 0.87%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.77%), Shree Cement(down 0.71%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.6%) and NTPC(down 0.6%) were trading in the red.
