Live market updates: The markets were seen turning choppy in morning deals as they gave up all gains. The benchmark Sensex and Nifty indices were back in the red terrain with marginal losses due to pressure in Auto and IT stocks.
The broader markets were mixed as the BSE SmallCap index was outperforming its midcap peer and the benchmarks, trading 0.2 per cent up. BSE MidCaps was down 0.4 per cent.
Sectorally, Banks, Metals and Realty erased all gains and were broadly muted, while Auto, IT, FMCG pack had extended their losses.
