Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Friday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Galactico Corporate(14.41%), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(13.75%), Banaras Beads(13.5%), Lime Chemicals(12.5%), Wall Street Fin(11.56%), Kirloskar Ind(11.43%) and Nirmitee Robotics(10.85%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 68.57 points up at 55532.96, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 7.8 points to 16602.7.
In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Galactico Corporate, Chothani Foods, Nahar Poly Film, Kernex Microsys and Salem Erode Invest hit their fresh 52-week high, while SM Auto, U P Hotels Ltd., SoftTech Engineers, Tarini International and Anjani Foods touched their new 52-week low in trade.
