UP Election Result Winner LIVE: The BJP under Yogi Adityanath is heading for an unprecedented victory in Uttar Pradesh. The ruling party is currently leading on 270 plus seats, 70 more than what is required to form the government. Yogi Adityanath is leading in Gorakhpur Urban and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is ahead in Karhal. However, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya is currently trailing in Sirathu. Chief Minister Adityanath was fighting to retain the state for BJP while Akhileshh Yadav was looking to make a comeback, five years after he was dethroned by the saffron surge in 2017. The results are in expected lines as almost all exit polls had predicted BJP's return with a comfortable majority. India Today-Axis My India poll had predicted 288-326 seats for the BJP, while Chanakya has given 294.

Exit polls predictions for UP: Almost all exit polls have predicted win for the BJP, with seats ranging from 225 to 326. Highest seat projection has been made by India Today-Axis My India polls, which has predicted 288-326 seats and 71-101 for the Samajwadi Party. Today's Chanakya has predicted 294 seats for the BJP and 105 for the SP.
