Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, UP, Manipur Election Results 2022 Live Updates: The BJP is heading to retain power in Uttar Pradesh and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will bag Punjab in elections seen as the semi-final before the 2024 national contest. The BJP is also ahead of the Congress in Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand.
The BJP coalition was leading in about 262 of the 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh, news channels reported citing counting data, while the Election Commission said the party was ahead in enough seats to hold onto power.
Number of seats in the five states are as follows: Uttar Pradesh (403), Punjab (117 seats), Uttarakhand (70 seats), Manipur (60 seats) and Goa (40 seats).

Manipur election result 2022 LIVE: In Manipur, the Congress is set to lose with BJP-led alliance taking a comfortable lead.
