DCM Shriram Industries(up 9.31%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 8.81%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 4.95%), Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(up 4.90%), BAJAJHIND(up 4.81%), Sakthi Sugars(up 4.50%), Rana Sugars(up 4.49%), Simbhaoli Sugars(up 4.07%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(up 2.70%) and Dhampur Sugar Mills(up 2.69%) were among the top gainers.
Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(down 0.33%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 374.55 points up at 16719.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 1308.34 points at 55955.67 at around 10:50AM.
Tata Motors(up 6.58%), Axis Bank(up 6.52%), IndusInd Bank(up 5.24%), Bajaj Finserv(up 5.03%), Grasim Industries(up 4.87%), Hindustan Unilever(up 4.64%), ICICI Bank(up 4.56%), State Bank of India(up 4.42%), Maruti Suzuki(up 4.4%) and Bajaj Finance(up 4.06%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 3.96%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.22%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.88%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.78%), HCL Technologies(down 0.21%) and ITC(down 0.02%) were trading in the red.
