CEC Sushil Chandra on Akhilesh’s EVMs 'stolen' claim: 'This is an attempt to mislead voters, spread misconceptions'
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, on Tuesday, alleged that Uttar Pradesh government is stealing Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), claiming that a truck carrying voting machines was caught in Varanasi. "This is just an attempt to mislead voters & spread misconceptions. The EVMs in Varanasi were out for training purposes. The EVM used for polling is secured by a 3-tier structure", CEC Sushil Chandra told TIMES NOW.
