Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has presented the fourth budget of his government today. This year also the focus of the budget is on farmers, villages, poor as well as employees. The Chief Minister has announced to restore the old pension scheme for the officers and employees of the state.
The Chief Minister has also increased the honorarium of the Panchayat representatives of the state. The amount of MLA fund has been increased from Rs 2 crore to Rs 4 crore. The government will now build steel bridges in the Naxal-affected areas. 47 steel bridge has been proposed. CM Bhupesh has presented a budget of 1 lakh 4 thousand crores.
Estimated 11.54 per cent growth in Gross State Domestic Product for the current year as compared to 2020-21. Growth in agriculture sector is estimated at 3.88 per cent, in industrial sector, 15.44 and in service sector by 8.54 per cent. The estimated growth rate in the industrial sector is 3.64 per cent higher than the national rate. State's GDP estimated to be 461 crore, 13.60 percent more than last year.
Proposal for construction of 47 steel bridges in Naxal-affected districts of Bijapur, Sukma and Dantewada Survey of 9 villages of Abujhmad, 237 villages will be surveyed. 90 crore for Kelo project, 45 crore for Arpa Bhaisajhar project, 14 crore for completion of Samoda project.
