ReutersNEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:10AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.
Brigade Enterprises(up 2.09 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.82 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.0 per cent), DLF(up 0.8 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills(down 0.82 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.7 per cent at 409.3 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 109.2 points at 16122.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 451.7 points at 53875.79.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, ONGC, PNB and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of TTK Healthcare, Ugar Sugar Work, Dwarikesh Sugar, NDTV and Mangalam Global Ent hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Akash Infra-Proj, Easun Reyrolle, Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., McNally Bharat and Sansera Engineering Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
