Global market cues for March 09, 2022

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.6 percent to finish the session at 32,632.64, the lowest in nearly a year. The broad-based S&P 500 dropped 0.7 percent to end at 4,170.7, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite lost 0.3 percent to 12,795.55. Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 79.50 points, or 0.50 per cent, higher at 16,021, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Wednesday.
