Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Orient Press(14.08%), Take Solutions(14.05%), Haryana Capfin(13.33%), IOL Chemicals(12.93%), Captain Technocast(11.72%) and Ecoplast Ltd(10.98%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 458.89 points up at 53882.98, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 133.6 points to 16147.05.
In the Nifty 50 index, 36 stocks traded in the green, while 14 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Oracle Credit, Chothani Foods, Decillion Finance, NDTV and Dwarikesh Sugar hit their fresh 52-week high, while Tarini International, Ind Renewable Energ, Janus Corporation, U P Hotels Ltd. and Go Fashion touched their new 52-week low in trade.
