    Women must develop traits like conflict management, risk taking, overcoming the ‘imposter syndrome,’ making difficult decisions and a multi-disciplinary mindset. Building these muscles from childhood is key to earning that seat in the boardroom.

    Growing up in a joint family, I have very fond memories of my childhood. I enjoyed my days in the company of girlfriends at our convent school, and spent evenings playing cricket with my brothers around the neighbourhood. As I went on to attend engineering college, seeing only around 30 girls in a batch of 300 students opened my eyes to the gender diversity gap in the real world.
