NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:11AM

Godrej Consumer Products(up 5.00%), Future Consumer(up 3.82%), Euro India Fresh Foods(up 3.49%), Umang Dairies(up 3.33%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 2.02%), Vadilal Industries(up 2.01%), Hind.Foods(up 1.86%), Gillette India(up 1.26%), Dabur India(up 1.10%) and Bajaj Consumer(up 1.10%) were among the top gainers.

Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(down 2.65%), P & G Hygiene(down 1.97%), Dangee Dums(down 1.63%), Britannia Industries(down 1.51%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.27%), DFM Foods(down 0.95%), Nestle India(down 0.81%), Jyothy Labs(down 0.50%), Parag Milk(down 0.41%) and Heritage Foods(down 0.08%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 81.4 points down at 15781.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 212.25 points at 52630.5 at around 11:11AM.

Tata Consultancy(up 2.19%), NTPC(up 2.15%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.03%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.73%), Infosys(up 1.63%), Cipla(up 1.55%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.25%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 1.16%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.03%) and HCL Technologies(up 0.99%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 3.64%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.35%), Tata Steel(down 3.26%), Axis Bank(down 3.24%), Maruti Suzuki(down 2.82%), Asian Paints(down 2.12%), State Bank of India(down 2.06%), SBI Life(down 1.89%), JSW Steel(down 1.88%) and HDFC Bank(down 1.8%) were trading in the red.
