iPhone 13 in green? Tonight’s Apple event could have two iPhone announcements

An iPhone 13 in green? If the rumours hold an ounce of truth, Apple could be announcing a new colour variant of the iPhone 13 alongside an updated iPhone SE 3. Apple had unveiled a new colour variant of the iPhone 12 at the last Spring event and the new rumours pointing at a new iPhone 13 colour variant seems possible. Apple is yet to hint about it or confirming anything officially, and hence you should take this with a pinch of salt.

Based on information from Luke Miani, a YouTube creator, Apple is planning to unveil a new colour variant of the iPhone 13 at tonight’s event. The iPhone 13 is said to get a dark green colour variant; a shade that is said to be a brighter yet darker version of the green version of the iPhone 11 Pro. Note that the iPhone is currently available Black, White, Red, Blue and Pink. If the new colour comes out, you can expect the internal specifications of the phone could remain the same.

iPhone 13 in new colour?

While the iPhone 13 in a new green colour is certainly news for those willing to buy the phone, the biggest iPhone announcement of today, however, is said to be the rumoured iPhone SE 3. Leaks and rumours have repeatedly said that new iPhone SE 3 is essentially an updated iPhone SE 2020 with a new processor borrowed from the iPhone 13. The phone is said to be supporting 5G network connectivity as well.

Hence, you can expect the new iPhone SE to have the same 4.7-inch LCD display with the retro thick bezels on the top and bottom. This will also be the only iPhone to get the Touch ID based Home button this year. The iPhone SE 3 is also said to have a single 12MP rear camera and a 7MP front camera. The phone is expected to come in the same black, white and red colour variants.

What remains to be seen is whether the iPhone SE 3 gets a battery capacity upgrade over the 4G model. The iPhone SE 2020 had a terrible battery life and Apple has been lately bumping up battery capacities in a bid to improve the stamina.
