NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading lower on Monday at 11:10AM

Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 3.15%), Coal India(up 2.29%), NMDC Ltd(up 1.15%) and MOIL(up 0.38%) were among the top gainers.

Aro Granite Industries(down 3.11%), Pokarna(down 2.90%), Ashapura Minechem(down 2.86%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 2.78%), 20 Microns(down 2.37%), KIOCL(down 0.92%), Oriental Trimex(down 0.84%) and Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 0.58%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 407.9 points down at 15837.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1502.17 points at 52831.64 at around 11:10AM.

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 3.78%), Hindalco Industries(up 3.55%), Coal India(up 2.32%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.06%), UPL Ltd(up 0.92%), HCL Technologies(up 0.79%), Cipla(up 0.77%), Tata Steel(up 0.35%), JSW Steel(up 0.32%) and Infosys(up 0.2%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 5.78%), Bajaj Finserv(down 5.39%), IndusInd Bank(down 5.1%), Britannia Industries(down 4.98%), Larsen & Toubro(down 4.88%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 4.87%), Maruti Suzuki(down 4.81%), State Bank of India(down 4.75%), Tata Motors(down 4.6%) and Hero MotoCorp(down 4.5%) were trading in the red.
