Jhulan Goswami, known as a great women fast bowler, remembered Warne was one of the greatest bowlers to have ever played. "Heartbroken and stocked. We will miss you. Rest in peace legend," she wrote.
Shattered by the news, cricketer Harleen Kaur Deol said that her dream of meeting her idol and childhood inspiration will never come true.
Shafali Verma, the youngest-ever cricketer to play T20I for India, said she was saddened by the loss of 'one of the greatest to play the game'. She further added that she grew up watching him play the sport.
