Muviah was airlifted from NSCN-IM’s headquarter to a hospital in Dimapur. NSCN-IM, in a statement, stated Muivah was admitted to the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) Hospital, Dimapur due to a minor health issue attributed to indigestion which was properly looked into on time by the doctors and is now out of danger and doing fine apart from the successful minor surgery which he underwent today.

Thuingaleng Muivah, general secretary of Isak-Muivah led National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) is now out of danger and doing fine apart from the successful minor surgery which he underwent, the outfit.

Muviah was airlifted from NSCN-IM’s headquarter to a hospital in Dimapur. NSCN-IM, in a statement, stated Muivah was admitted to the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) Hospital, Dimapur due to a minor health issue attributed to indigestion which was properly looked into on time by the doctors and is now out of danger and doing fine apart from the successful minor surgery which he underwent today.

It added, “We thankful to the CIHSR and well-wishers for the love and prayers exhibited to ensure that he is safe. Let us continue to pray and care for him as he continues to be under the care of the CIHSR until his discharge.”

The outfit and government of India have been engaged in peace talks for over two decades. Muviah is the prime negotiator. In 2015 the outfit and government of India had inked a framework agreement.
