ADANIGREEN(up 5.29%), Adani Transmissions(up 5.00%), Energy Development Company(up 5.00%), Indowind Energy(up 4.85%), Orient Green Power Company(up 4.19%), Suzlon Energy(up 3.08%), RTNPOWER(up 2.78%), Karma Energy(up 2.66%), NLC India(up 2.49%) and K.P.I. Global Infrastructure(up 2.45%) were among the top gainers.
DPSC(down 2.06%), Kalpataru Power Transmission(down 1.07%), KEC International(down 0.93%) and NHPC(down 0.52%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 30.45 points up at 16636.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 97.39 points at 55566.29 at around 10:14AM.
Tech Mahindra(up 2.88%), Wipro(up 2.57%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.36%), Coal India(up 2.16%), HCL Technologies(up 2.14%), Cipla(up 1.81%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.8%), Tata Steel(up 1.45%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.38%) and JSW Steel(up 1.35%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Asian Paints(down 3.24%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 3.12%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.74%), SBI Life(down 1.22%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.17%), Eicher Motors(down 1.09%), Shree Cement(down 0.88%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.77%), ICICI Bank(down 0.76%) and Nestle India(down 0.74%) were trading in the red.
